Binar endeavors to ignite discourse on the patriarchal norms ingrained in traditional Javanese adornments, while actively confronting and dismantling these precepts.
By recounting the saga of Javanese female warriors, its goal is to underscore a pivotal epoch where these women shattered societal expectations, demonstrating prowess beyond domestic confines. Yet, their tales often linger in historical texts without visual validation – an oversight Binar seeks to rectify through its illumination of neglected history.
